The default page layout is specified in the Global Settings of your project book.

To set the default page layout:

1. Create or edit your desired page layout object, as required.
2. Go to Settings > Global Settings.
3. Locate the Default Page Layout property.
   
4. Select the desired page layout from the dropdown menu.
